Activities
Our residents like to be busy and engaged. Involvement in community-based activities is greatly encouraged for all residents, such as apple picking, horseback riding, fishing, theatre and musical performances, and more. We also organize and supervise day trips as well as longer excursions outside Rhode Island to locations such as Disney World, Washington, D.C. and Canada.
Residential Services Referrals
Trudeau’s Residential Services are funded through the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH) and are offered to individuals with developmental disabilities past the age of 21. In order to be placed at a Trudeau residence, individuals must first meet BHDDH’s eligibility requirements and be deemed eligible for residential services by their assigned BHDDH Social Worker.
