ABA Treatment Center

Our expert team uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – the gold standard in treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders – to help children build independence, capabilities, and confidence so they can grow to their full potential.

Treatment Services

The ABA Treatment Center includes a variety of treatments based on Applied Behavior Analysis, with the goal of building independence across the following areas:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Communication
  • Positive behavior change
  • Safety
  • Social interactions and play

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how can it help my child?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior and how it is affected by the environment. ABA uses principles of learning theory to systematically change behavior. ABA breaks down skills into small, manageable steps and provides rewards to reinforce desired behaviors. ABA therapists collect data to see how effective interventions are, with the goal of improving behaviors that are helpful and decreasing behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.

In this way, ABA is a customizable, evidence-based treatment that is positive and rewarding. It empowers individuals to gain independence by building skills that improve their quality of life. With early intensive ABA therapy, some children can achieve normal functioning, and ABA continues to help individuals across the lifespan.
