Employment Concepts

Employment Concepts helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find employment, and helps businesses find qualified employees while enjoying tax incentives and benefitting the community. The program is part of a national initiative to help those with disabilities become contributing members of their community through meaningful, integrated employment.

Preparing for the Workplace

Employment Concepts provides employment services that are funded by ORS and BHDDH. When referred to Employment Concepts, you will have access to an array of services that are designed to help you establish competitive community employment:

  • Vocational evaluations
  • Community-based work evaluations
  • Job development
  • Job placement
  • Job coaching
  • Long-term job coaching
  • Retention
  • Benefits counseling referrals

Employment plans are individualized to provide the support services desired for success in the workplace.
